EndWar: The Motherland Calls

The last entry for Todyo1798's EndWar series: the Russian victory. This is the most extreme of the EndWar maps, demonstrating massive geopolitical change and placing Russia as the undisputed master of the world. There's a good narrative reason for this: the United States and European Federation were generally friendly to each other, and so allowed for some vestiges of their rival to exist. The Russians have had historical animosity with both for decades, and thus do not trust them to be even less-than-equal partners in a new global order. The Russians have dismembered both the United States and the European Federation. 

Naturally, the Russians have taken back all of the former SSRs, and have even taken Alaska and Finland. The Russians have their own European Union-esque project, the Eastern European Combine[1], which is nothing more than an economic and free trade zone. The Russians don't want someone who really hates them, like the Poles, taking control of a new EF right next to their border. I imagine the Russians support broadly far-right parties across Europe, but that their policy is less ideological and more pragmatic. They'll support whichever party would need their help and would be most likely to keep their old country divided. For example, they support the left-wing SNP in Scotland. The new republics in the United States, save for the new Confederacy and Texas, are run by apolitical sycophants than they are by preexisting secessionists. 

The Russians are more interventionist than the Americans, but unlike the EF, who are rather obsessed with creating supranational, democratic federations, the Russians are willing to prop up the most convenient strongman and let him murder as many people as he needs to in order to keep power. Few problems in the world can't be solved with some nerve gas. Tensions are growing with Iran, as some Iranian-backed terrorist organizations take umbrage with Russian domination of the Middle East, and the Russian Orthodox Church grows in power within Russia. 

China is less powerful here than it is in either the American or EF victories. It is devoting much more of its resources to homeland defense, considering that the global superpower is now right next door. The Russians want to settle some scores with the Chinese and become absolutely unchallenged in Asia, as they are in the rest of the world. But the occupation of Europe and America is still ongoing, and even if the Russian people are still high off the victory over the decadent Western imperialists, they aren't enthusiastic about starting another war so soon.
